“10 Ways” ✍️ to achieve sales success from social media? Well, Budget is NOT one of them.

You may have heard of asymmetric advantage. Well, I am not talking about warfare but social media! We notice that only a very few organizations and individuals achieve social media success while most don’t.
🌈 What I mean by success – followers, content creation, engagement, conversations, conversions and closures/customers. The question is why, and what does it take to succeed?

💡 My thoughts…

1. Allocating resources including people, planning, content strategy and tools are more important than budget.

2. Consciously choose your audience by location, role, experience and industry. Those people you can add value to, can benefit from engaging with you – partners, advisors and customers.

3. It’s super critical to have “content-centricity.” Content helps you build, maintain and elevate your reputation, positive perception, attract attention, gain mind-share as a precursor to wallet-share.

4. Create content schedule and plan to build your content accordingly, well in advance

5. Be disciplined and relentless in executing your content strategy, leverage tools, free or paid.

6. Track what’s relevant, valuable, trending, engaging to your audience so you can make changes to content strategy as you learn along the way…

7. “Rinse & repeat” the same piece of content and re-purpose it to different channels like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and more…

8. Be patient as it takes authenticity, creativity, consistency over a long period of time.

9. Leverage Tools to automate content schedule and publishing for multiple channels at scale. This will help you adapt/channel, boost reach, visibility, engagement and maximum mileage to your content

10. Measure your performance many times but count only once per month/quarter as per the KPIs/Metrics prioritized by you.
